SEASON RECAP 16/17: KIM GUBSER

Kim Gubser also looked back to the past season and get us a glimpse of his goals for the next winter and what kind of tricks were trendy.

Hey Kim! Could you tell us how your season 16/17 was and what was your personal highlight?

From my point of view my season was pretty good. I was able to gain a lot of experience from the worldcups and was able to compete against the best. For this reason I neglected a bit the Swiss Freeski Tour. Even though I was able to win the Big Air contest at the Swiss Freeski Open in Davos. That was perfect for me, because there were all of my friends and I had home advantage.

I took part in some European Cups and was even able to finish 2nd in Livigno and on the podium next to Colin (1st place), one of my best friends. Unfortunately, a lot of the Swiss Freeski Tour contest were cancelled because of bad weather and I wasn’t able to compete in the overall rankings.

What about your goals for the next season?

Actually, my goals for the next year are clear. Like this year I would like to participate in as many international competitions as possible and gain as much experiences as possible. I would like to concentrate more on Europe and World Cups than on the Swiss Freeski Tour.

We are looking forward to the next season and we wish you all the best. But for now some of your Top 3 Rankings…
