Growing up at Flumserberg, René Wildhaber always had a soft spot for bicycles. At first he used his bike only for transportation purposes as his parents did not own a car. So he permanently rode up- and downhill which automatically improved his skills.

In his first races he did relatively well, what got him the first support and the necessary push to climb the top. Nowadays he travels around the world with his velo and has fulfilled the dream he once had as a young fella. Today René shares his knowledge and his experiences with kids at his “Wildis Füchse” bike camp. He wants them to spare the mistakes he had to go through on his own.
